Crater Reservoir is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Antelope Valley RV Park is a fine location to camp nearby, and you'll find a striking lake called Swasey Hardpan Reservoir. During the summer, highs generally are in the 90's at Crater Reservoir with nighttime lows       in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Crater Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
