Be careful coming to the Uinta Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again.       Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Dinosaur Inn; hiking is a popular thing to do around Counting Station Reservoir; Lowline Trail is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. A fine spot to camp here at Counting Station Reservoir is Red Spring Campground; there's whitewater on Green River for all you adrenaline people. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Counting Station Reservoir, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course,                  usually in the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Counting Station Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. Some nearby water includes Pothole Creek, and there are plenty of folks from Vernal here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Counting Station Reservoir.
