Walker Creek Reservoir is a splendid lake in the vicinity of Cottonwood       Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Cottonwood Lake, for example Red Lake; a delightful place to go to is Whitebelly Wash. For the period of the warm months at Cottonwood Lake highs are commonly in the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Cottonwood Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
