Cooks Pond is a nice lake to visit. Cooks Pond is a location that is quite dried out generally; May is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. A lake nearby is Pelican Pond. There's so much to do here at Cooks Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Western Park Campground is a pleasant place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Blacksmith Fork, and the snow is pleasant at Beaver

The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Cooks Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
