In Utah there are many beautiful lakes, Cook Reservoir is one of them. Cook Reservoir is a great place to visit for more than one day, Blue water Beach is a great place to camp nearby; do pop by Kearl Reservoir, it's a pretty lake. So many fun things to do at Cook Reservoir, so little time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Midland Trail, and beaches are delightful and Rendezvous Beach is no exception. | | and there's good hiking along the Limber Pine Trail. Near Cook Reservoir you come across a golf course called Bear Lake Golf Course It's always great to visit Jebo Spring. High temperatures at Cook Reservoir during the warm months are in the 90's, and the night is a bit cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Cook Reservoir, you could also explore beautiful Kearl Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cook Reservoir; Hardware Ranch Trail is a good local trail. Not
enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wasatch Range. A perfect beach close to Cook Reservoir is Ideal Beach, and paddling on Blacksmith Fork is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Jebo Flats rejuvenates the spirit; Logan
River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wasatch Range. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Wasatch Range. Dry warm beds await you at SUPER 8 MOTEL -

Limber Pine Trail
 | The Limber Pine trail is more of a nature walk than a hike. It's good for kids and those seeking an easy, short trail. Educational posting about flora, etc. are included around this loop trail. It's fun, too, even if you are a serious hiker. I think I could complete the loop in 15 minutes, but one posting I saw said 45 minutes. Walk it and find out. Easy access right off the road.... |
Bloomington Lake Trail
 | 18 miles away ...ington Lake is up Bloomington Canyon on the West Side of the Bear Lake Valley. The canyon road is accessed off of Highway 89 in the community of Bloomington. It is approximately 11 miles to the top of the canyon and parking area. The road is dirt and gravel and suitable for most passenger cars. It is a short trail to the lake where you will be rewarded with a beautiful high mountain lake with high surrounding cliffs. There are many trails the lead off from the canyon and connect to other surrounding canyons. One of the more notable trails is the Highline Trail. This is an approximate 60 mile trail that runs north and south along the ridge line of the mountains. The trail can be accessed at many point including the top of Bloomington Canyon. At the parking area the road continues a bit futher west and the road turns into a trail that leads up to the ridge.
