And that's not all you can do here at Cook Lake. A wonderful lake like Miller Lake in close proximity to Cook Lake is a magnificent place to check out; from Cook Lake you acquire a good view of Lookout Peak. A tremendous close by hotel is Wonderland Inn, and a great place to camp       here at Cook Lake is Sandcreek RV Park. Lightning Lake is a good lake right next door to Cook Lake; a short visit to Baker Spring is always worthwhile. Take a hike on the Aquarius Trail, and Days Inn Torrey - Capital Reef is a nice place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Pollywog Lake Trail, and Fremont River is a great whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. At Cook Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Cook Lake with nighttime lows in the 40's.
