A visit to Clement Lake is always a good idea. It is very dehydrated here at Clement Lake mostly; September is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is March. Why not check out Clement Lake Dam while you're here, and get soaked paddling on Lake Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Altamont Motel, and going for a hike on the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail is always a good adventure.

A great place right next door to Clement Lake is East Basin Pass. For the duration of the summer months here at Clement Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Uinta Mountains. If you need a place to stay Duchesne River Inns is a nice choice,
and Brown Duck Basin is a great place to check out. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Clement Lake has it all. Aspen Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by; camping at Yellow Pine Campground is always a wonderful
experience. This lake is located in the wonderful Uinta Mountains.
Clement Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Miners Gulch Campground is a tremendous local campground, and don't leave Clement Lake without first going for a hike along the East Fork Pinto Lake Trail.
