It's always fun to stop by China Lake. Around China Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls through September; the driest month is January. Not far from China Lake you obtain some fine water scenery at China Lake Dam, and hiking is a popular thing to do around China Lake; Bear River Smiths Fork Trail is a delightful local trail. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Evanston, and Bridger Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit.

| | China Lake is one of the lakes here in the Uinta Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Uinta Mountains will keep you coming back many times. There's whitewater on Blacks Fork - West Fork for all you thrill seekers, and you can stay the night at China Meadows Campground.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Uinta Mountains. Lots of folks from Evanston come to China Lake, and nice hiking is available along the High Line | |

Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at China Lake that you need to camp here for a while, West Marsh Lake Campground is a splendid spot for that; why not take a refreshing hike along the Shale Dugway. And
if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing stuff just keep reading. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Blacks Fork - East Fork, and China Meadows is a good place.
At China Lake
through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while China Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's.
