So many fun things to do here at Chepeta Lake, too brilliant to be true. There's whitewater on Uinta River for all you adrenaline people, and camping at Paradise Campground is always a brilliant experience. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn; Moccasin Lake is a delightful lake nearby. So many cool things to do here in the Uinta Mountains, too brilliant to be true. Chepeta Lake is located in the Uinta Mountains.       The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Chepeta Lake while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Chepeta Lake plunge into the 0's. Chepeta Dam is worth a visit since you're here, and you can go for a hike on the Dry Fork Trail. Man, is there lots of enjoyable things to do in the Uinta Mountains. Chepeta Lake is great enough                  to spend more than a day at, Spirit Lake Campground is a great local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Chepeta Lake; Icy Hill Dugway is a splendid local trail. Chepeta Lake gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
