This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Chasm Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lava Point Campground is a nice site for that, and a great panorama of wonderful Bullpen Mountain is available. This lake is so wonderful. Near Chasm Lake you find the La Verkin Creek Trail which is a glorious hiking trail; if you came to camp Zion's Mukuntuweep RV Park and Campground is a good place to do that.       A tour to Cedar Breaks National Monument is recommended. Not far from Chasm Lake, you'll hit upon Kolob Reservoir which is a stunning lake, and The Hardscrabble is a magnificent place here at Chasm Lake. If you love the outdoors, you'll go for Chasm Lake. There are other spots here than Chasm Lake, for example Kolob Creek Reservoir; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Virgin River - North Fork. Through the warm months                  at Chasm Lake temperatures are commonly in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Chasm Lake. There are great locations to discover along the Hop Valley Trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Willis Creek. After a long day outdoors SpringHill Suites by Marriott Cedar City is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two It's always good to go to Birch Spring. Knights Inn Cedar City is a wonderful location to get some rest; going for a hike on the Kolob Arch Trail is always a great adventure.
