What a nice lake Chappell Lake is. For the duration of the days of summer at Chappell Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Chappell Lake tend to be in the 10's. You just must adore the Wasatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. | | into a kayak and hit Chalk Creek. Around Chappell Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; throughout April this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wasatch Range. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the Wasatch Range. If you come at the right time of year, East Canyon Creek offers some great whitewater, and
as expected, this is a good area for people who like lakes, Sargent Lakes is a lake around here. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Sargent Number One Reservoir. You'll need more than a day
to explore everything Chappell Lake has to offer, you can camp at Holiday Hills RV Park. Everybody loves Turner Meadows; a glorious nearby hotel is Stag Lodge.

This ski resort has stronger snowfall than the local average each snow season. The marvelous mountain surroundings of Utah and great ski trails have ski people coming from far and near. There are 5 independantly owned lodges at Alta, catering to a wide variety of clientelle.
