This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Wandin Campground is a glorious spot to camp; get yourself into a kayak and hit Uinta River. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Cedar View Reservoir, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's; the overnight is slightly colder of course, regularly       in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while Cedar View Reservoir night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. All the outdoors fun things in the Uinta Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Yellowstone River offers some great whitewater, and Best Western Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest. Cedar View Reservoir is ordinarily a pretty dehydrated                  place; the wettest month of the year is frequently September, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is November. So much fun stuff in the neighborhood of Cedar View Reservoir, truly striking. Take a hike on the Dry Fork Trail, and the wonderful folks of Vernal like to hang out close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Uinta Mountains.
