Man, is there a lot of entertaining stuff to do next to Cedar View Reservoir. If you came for an overnight stay Uinta Canyon Campground is a pleasant site to camp; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Dry Fork Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Uinta River, and Wandin Campground is a brilliant local campground. After a long day outdoors Best Western       Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, and a pretty lake like Pot Holes is a magnificent site to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Yellowstone River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Shale Dugway. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the Uinta Mountains. Lots of people from Vernal come to Cedar View Reservoir, and Frog Lake is a great lake                  close by. Cedar View Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Uinta Mountains. For the period of the summertime at Cedar View Reservoir highs are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Cedar View Reservoir are in the 0's.
