     There's so much to do here at Cedar Peak Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rimrock Rustic Inn is a great spot for that; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Torrey - Capital Reef. Cedar Peak Lake is right by the Pollywog Lake Trail; if you came to camp Escalante State Park is a great place to do that. Bald Knoll is clearly visible from Cedar Peak Lake. Cedar Peak Lake is right next door to West Fork Cedar Peak Draw which is unquestionably worth going  
   to; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Hunt Reservoir.
For the period of the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Cedar Peak Lake. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Cedar Peak Lake. Around Cedar Peak Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while
 
               February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Aquarius Trail is tremendous fun; after a long day outdoors Wonderland Inn is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two.
Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Cedar Peak Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Black Burn Trail. Lakes are tremendous; Gripe Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Cedar Peak Lake.
