You can run the rapids of Blacksmith Fork right next door to Causey Reservoir, and if you came for an overnight stay Skull Crack Campground is a brilliant place to camp. Get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Ogden River - South Fork, and Powder Mountain is a fine local ski area. So much amusing stuff to do in the Wasatch Range, not enough time. A good spot to pop by close to Causey       Reservoir is Dry Bread Hollow; you can take a little tour to Causey Dam if you're here at Causey Reservoir. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Wasatch Range. The slopes of Snowbasin are so inviting noone can resist. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. Put some time aside to spend at Causey Spring since you're here at Causey Reservoir, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Hardware Ranch Trail. For the                  duration of the summer highs here at Causey Reservoir reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Causey Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Causey Reservoir is located in the Wasatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Causey Reservoir is tremendous fun, Hawthorne Campground is a tremendous local campground, and while you're here, you could stop by Left Fork South Fork Ogden River.
