Beautiful Causey Reservoir has much to offer visitors. Causey Reservoir gets very little precipitation; April is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. Why not camp at Hawthorne Campground while you're here at Causey Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Blacksmith Fork. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Wasatch Range. Some of the water close
by flows, like Left Fork South Fork Ogden River; if you come at the right time of year, Ogden River - South Fork offers some glorious whitewater.
Causey Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Wasatch Range. High temperatures at Causey Reservoir through the warm days of summer are in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Don't leave Causey Reservoir without first paying a visit to Causey Spring, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Causey Dam next to Causey Reservoir.
