The warmest time of the year at Cat Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Cat Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Cat Pond is right by the       Blue Dugway, and Blue Pond is a great lake close by. A great place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Cat Pond is San Rafael River; a trip to Red Seep will fill your soul with delightful feelings. If you came to camp Forks Of Huntington - Manti-LaSal National Forest is a nice spot to do that, and Black Hills is clearly visible from Cat Pond. Cat Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Joes Valley Reservoir - Manti-LaSal National Forest                  is a good local campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. The Chris Otteson Trail offers hiking at its best, and during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Price for sure.
