The beauty of Castle Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime at Castle Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Castle Lake tend to be in the 10's.

| | let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and the summit of Castle Peak can be spotted from Castle Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Uinta Mountains for a delightful time. Beaver Creek Campground is a good campground nearby; not far from Castle Lake you'll come across Shingle Mill Lake which is a striking lake. Lakes are tremendous; Hourglass Lake is a lake that's near Castle Lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Smith Morehouse Trail.

Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do in the vicinity of Castle Lake. Hiking along the Nobletts Creek Trail is tremendous fun, and a delightful close by hotel is Lodge at Stillwater. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t
have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Provo River, and Daniels Summit Lodge is a great site to get some rest. Castle Lake is pretty dehydrated regularly; of all the months in a year April is the
one with the most rain, and the driest month is July.
All the outdoors amusing things in the Uinta Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Chalk Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Taylors Fork Campground is a great local campground.
