The beauty of Carrol Lake attracts many people from all around. Carrol Lake is right by the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Carrol Lake has to offer, you can camp at Riverview Campground. High temperatures at Carrol Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's. to offer. Lake Atwood Dam is worth a visit if you're here, and a perfect location for whitewater paddling is Lake Fork. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Shale Dugway, and you're most likely hooked on lakes, Allen Lake is one
of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. At Carrol Lake you always meet someone from Evanston; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Yellowstone River.
