Canyon Pond is right by the Hole Trail; Capitol Reef National Park is one of the destinations that are perfect to take a look at close by. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Canyon Pond has to offer, you can camp at Buckboard - Manti-LaSal National Forest; why not take a refreshing hike along the Blue Dugway. Canyon Pond is a location that is pretty arid generally; August is       the wettest month with most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month. Looking for something next to Canyon Pond? South Ferron Reservoir is in the vicinity; there's whitewater on Ferron Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Lone Tree Reservoir if you're here at Canyon Pond; it's close by, and Canyon Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Cattle Country Mobile Home Campground is a                  great place to camp nearby. During the summertime months here at Canyon Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Canyon Pond during the winter regularly drop into the 10's. So many cool things to do at Canyon Pond, so little time. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Muddy Creek, and Bitter Seep is a wonderful spot to check out while you're at Canyon Pond.
