Bitter Seep is an inspiring place to pop by while you're here; you can run the rapids of Ferron Creek. You could also stop at Lone Tree Reservoir while you're here at Canyon Pond; it's close by. There's so much to do here at Canyon Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cattle Country Mobile Home Campground is a tremendous site for that. Summer at Canyon Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the

| | 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Canyon Pond overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. The Blue Dugway is a tremendous hiking trail in the vicinity of Canyon Pond, and stopping by Capitol Reef National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.

to spend more than a day at, Buckboard - Manti-LaSal National Forest is a good local campground. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Going for a hike on the Dry Wash Trail is always a wonderful adventure,
and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Muddy Creek. Canyon Pond is mostly a quite dry spot; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is April.

Pond? South Ferron Reservoir is close at hand, and while you're here, you might as well pop by Reed Wash. This lake is so wonderful.
