Bitter Seep is a wonderful local attraction, and you can stay the night at Cattle Country Mobile Home Campground. Canyon Pond is mostly a relatively waterless spot; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; April on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the summertime at Canyon Pond highs are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the       50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows through the wintertime for Canyon Pond tend to be in the 10's. Any time is a good time at Canyon Pond if you love the outdoors. Capitol Reef National Park is a delightful national park, and Muddy Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Near Canyon Pond you find the Blue Dugway which is a nice hiking trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched,                  you can always go whitewater paddling on Ferron Creek. There's so much to do here at Canyon Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Buckboard - Manti-LaSal National Forest is a nice place for that, and going for a hike on the Hole Trail is always a good adventure.
