Cajon Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Summertime highs at Cajon Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows throughout the winter for Cajon Lake tend to be in the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at Sun Canyon Ranch, and Little Cajon Lake is a tremendous lake nearby. Hovenweep National Monument is a wonderful place in the vicinity of

| | Cajon Lake. It is very dried up here at Cajon Lake typically; October is when you get the most rain here while June is usually the driest month. Ruin Point is an interesting thing to catch a sight of since you're here at Cajon Lake, and lakes are such serene spots, why not pop by Landsat A-1 Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Square Tower Ruins Campground is a tremendous site to do that, and taking a little spree to close by Ruin Point is a perfect idea.
