Not far from CCC Pond, you'll stumble on Morris Pond which is a beautiful lake, and don't leave CCC Pond without first going for a hike along the Rattlesnake Trail. Camping at Delano RV Park is always a great experience, and hey, Gotta ski right? Elk Meadows is a magnificent place to do that. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. A fine location in the vicinity of CCC Pond is Negro Hollow. Lakes? Sure,       Howards Pond is around here. CCC Pond is pretty dehydrated usually; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most while June is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Beaver is a good choice, and pleasant hiking is available along the Copes Dugway. If you came to camp Minersville State Park is a good site to do that, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Beaver                  is a great location to spend a night or two. High temperatures at CCC Pond all through the warm days of summer are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
