While staying at CCC Pond you could always look at Negro Hollow; if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Rattlesnake       Trail. The Copes Dugway is a perfect hiking trail near CCC Pond, and skiing at Elk Meadows is one of those things you just must do. Yeah, come here to CCC Pond for a great time. A delightful close by hotel is Comfort Inn Beaver; camping at Delano RV Park is always a nice experience. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 90's at CCC Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's.
