There are four individual ponds that offer fishing for both larger brood stock and annually planted fish. Burrastons is located off the Mona exit just north of Nephi, Utah. High Mountain Campground is a wonderful local campground, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Paradise Inn Of Nephi is a good choice. Take a side tour to Currant Creek, and a great nearby hotel is Nephi Super 8 Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Burriston Ponds is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Nephi Koa Kampground is a glorious spot to camp nearby, and don't leave       Burriston Ponds without first going for a hike along the Nebo Peak Trail. At Burriston Ponds you don’t see much precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here, and June is when it's the driest. Burriston Ponds is not far at all from Provo-Orem. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Nephi City Golf Course, and you can go for a hike on the Willow Trail. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are really plentiful here at                  Burriston Ponds. Nearby Bear Canyon is a great location to go if you're at Burriston Ponds, and there's magnificent hiking along the Nebo Basin Trail. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Burriston Ponds reach the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
