Through the long summer days at Buckeye Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Buckeye Lake. Don't leave Buckeye Lake without first going for a hike along the Notch Mountain Trail, and Buckeye Lake is not the only location close by, Haystack Lake is a close by lake.       Buckeye Lake is right next door to Slate Gorge which is without doubt worth going to, and Washington Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Smooth Rock Falls is an inspiring spot to have a look at during your stay, and a great site like Lambert Meadow here at Buckeye Lake is too fine to miss. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Buckeye Lake. Go for a hike on the Smith Morehouse Trail, and camping at Lilly Lake                  Campground is always a pleasant experience. And if that's not enough there's loads more exciting things to do in the Uinta Mountains. There's pleasant hiking along the Lofty Lake Trail, and Buckeye Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Cobblerest Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Buckeye Lake, you could also take a look at nearby Spectacle Lake. Buckeye Lake is located in the Uinta Mountains. Around Buckeye Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year February is the one with the most snow, and the driest of the months is June. Just can't get enough of the Uinta Mountains.
