If you need a spot to stay Flaming Gorge Lodge is a great choice; nearby you locate the Hoy Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. If you came for an overnight stay Pugmire Pocket Campground is a tremendous  
   spot to camp, and you can go for a hike on the Matt Trail.
And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do next to Browns Park National Wildlife Refuge Reservoir. A fine spot in the vicinity of Browns Park National Wildlife Refuge Reservoir is Jesse Ewing Canyon, and why not take a little journey to Sears Creek while you're here.
