This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the summer at Browne Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Browne Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.                  Hiking along the Icy Hill Dugway is good fun, and if you've had enough of Browne Lake, Sheep Creek Lake is close by. If you came to camp Deep Creek Campground is a pleasant place to do that, needless to say you could also stop at Browne Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Browne Lake really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Going for a hike along the Dry Fork Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and a spree to Half Moon Park revives the spirit. Browne Lake is regularly a rather dried up place; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is February. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Uinta Mountains.
