For the period of the warm months here at Broken Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Broken Pond. Ferron Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by; Whiskey Wash is nearby, and is a brilliant place. At Broken Pond you don’t see       much rain; August is when you get the most rain here while April is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Capitol Reef National Park is a perfect national park; there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Blue Dugway. Paddling on Muddy Creek is so much fun, and why not camp at Cattle Country Mobile Home Campground since you're here at Broken Pond. No need to travel far to explore out of the ordinary stuff like Sand Bench; going                  for a hike on the Hole Trail is always a brilliant adventure. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Broken Pond has it all.
