Box Reservoir is generally a relatively dried up location; April is the month that gets the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Box Reservoir. If you come at the right time of year, Green River offers some good whitewater; you can stay the night at Split Mountain Gorge Campground. So many cool things to do here in the Uinta       Mountains, too great to be true. If the weather is tremendous here at Box Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Red Rock Nature Trail; Blair Spring is always fun to check out. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful. There's so much to do here at Box Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Rainbow Park Campground is a glorious spot for that, and Best Western Dinosaur Inn is a magnificent location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.                  This lake is so wonderful. Near Box Reservoir you come across the Jones Hole Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Green River. All year is a great time in the Uinta Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. A pretty lake like Shiner Reservoir close to Box Reservoir is a good place to check out, and the Daniels Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Through the days of summer at Box Reservoir highs are frequently in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Box Reservoir sink into the 0's.
