Yeah, come up here to the Uinta Mountains for a great time. At Box Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the month of April is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Don't leave Box Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Daniels Trail, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Downtown is a good site to spend a night or two. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody       but if it's for you then we recommend Green River, and you can stay the night at Rainbow Park Campground. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If you go for the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Box Reservoir. Good hiking is available along the Jones Hole Trail; Box Reservoir is a great location to camp, Split Mountain Gorge Campground is a great location. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Uinta Mountains will keep you coming back again and                  again. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Green River, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Dinosaur Inn. At Box Reservoir during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Box Reservoir sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
