Going for a hike on the Notch Mountain Trail is always a pleasant adventure; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Dunmar Inn. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things near Bourbon Lake. There is a great hiking trail near Bourbon Lake called the Lofty Lake Trail. Summer at Bourbon Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The winter comes with       highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bourbon Lake are in the 10's. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Uinta Mountains is unbeatable! If you came for an overnight stay Beaver View Campground is a tremendous place to camp; some close by water includes Whiskey Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Highline Trail, and Whiskey Island Lake is a nearby lake                  that you could pop by. Bourbon Lake gets very little rainfall; April is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest.
