If you are in Summit county it's always a good idea to stop by Booker Lake. Booker Lake is located in the Uinta Mountains. All the outdoors amusing things next to Booker Lake will keep you coming back time and again. A gorgeous lake like Abes Lake near Booker Lake is a pleasant place to check out, and if you came to camp Lilly Lake Campground is a pleasant place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. All year is a pleasant time in the Uinta Mountains if you love the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Smith Morehouse Trail is always a nice adventure, and Booker Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Bald Mountain Campground is a fine local campground. the highs are generally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Booker Lake.
Booker Lake is close to Wall Lake Dam which is a beautiful spot positively worth stopping at, and The Notch is another great place
to check out nearby. At Booker Lake you don’t see much precipitation; April is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Uinta Mountains, too great to be true. There is
a magnificent hiking trail right next door to Booker Lake called the Notch Mountain Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Stillwater.
