A lake close by is Boyer Lake, and on a gorgeous day you get a great vista of Humpy Peak from Blue Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Moffit Basin is a great spot here at Blue Lake; the Lofty Lake Trail is a great hiking trail close by. You'll wish for more       hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Blue Lake. Blue Lake is not the only place nearby, Joyce Lake is a nearby lake, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Smith Morehouse Trail. It is very dry here at Blue Lake commonly; April is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Blue Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camperworld Knotty Pine. Howard                  Johnson Inn Evanston WY is a great spot to get some rest, and not far from Blue Lake you acquire some perfect water scenery at Boyer Lake Dam. Summer at Blue Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's.
