Blue Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. While you're here at Blue Lake, you could also go to wonderful Grassy Lake, and don't leave Blue Lake without first going for a hike along the Reeder Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the area close to Blue Lake has to offer. | | site for whitewater paddling is Cottonwood Creek. You don’t have to go far from Blue Lake to see the water at Grassy Lake Dam, and Blue Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Camperworld Private Campground is a magnificent local campground.

Throughout the long summer days highs here at Blue Lake get into the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures
drop down into the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Blue Lake during the wintertime frequently plunge into the 0's. Not much rain falls here at Blue Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally September, that's the one that rains the most while June is ordinarily the driest month.
