All through the summer months highs here at Blue Lake get into the 90's while night lows are mostly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Blue Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Dolores River is a pleasant whitewater spot close to Blue Lake; Geyser Pass is       a nice spot to spend some time. This spot is excellent, just look at all the entertaining things to do close to Blue Lake. Red Stone Inn is a great place to get some rest; Oowah Campground is a brilliant campground nearby. After a long day outdoors Sorrel River Ranch Resort is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Beaver Lake is close at hand. Around Blue Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of October is the wettest with most of the                  rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful.
