Lower Bown Campground is a fine campground nearby, and Bowns Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. Blue Grass Lake is a location that is rather dried up usually; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. A short journey to Spruce Spring is always worthwhile, and if you get bored of Blue Grass Lake you could also pop by close by Long Lake. This       lake is so wonderful.
