Hiking along the The Race Track is magnificent fun; a lake nearby is Spring Lake. You could also go to Dry Wash Reservoir while you're here at Blue Creek Reservoir; it's nearby; Blue Creek Reservoir sits in the shade of the Abajo Mountains. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Blue Creek Reservoir get into the 90's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. the Delicate Arch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and the summit of Abajo Mountains can be spotted from Blue Creek Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Red Bluff Campground if you're here
at Blue Creek Reservoir, and Comfort Inn Blanding is a good location to get some rest.
It is very dried out here at Blue Creek Reservoir typically; most of the rain falls through October, and February on the other hand is the
driest. Newspaper Rock Campground is a great local campground; if you're here at Blue Creek Reservoir it's a great idea to go to Aspen Flat.
