One of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Bloods Lake is Clayton Peak, and everyone close by loves skiing at Solitude. Paddling on East Canyon Creek is so much fun, and after a long day outdoors Crescent Ridge by ResortQuest is a great place to spend a night or two. So many exciting things to do in the Wasatch Range, not enough time. Bloods Lake is a good       place to visit for more than one day, Wasatch Mountain State Park is a good place to camp nearby, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Timpanogos Trail. From a rain point of view Bloods Lake is a reasonably common place; April is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Guardsman Pass is near Bloods Lake and is absolutely a good place to pop by, and glide down the rapids of Provo River in a kayak.                  This lake is so wonderful.
