If you are in this part of Utah make sure to pay a visit to Blizzard Lake. High temperatures at Blizzard Lake during the summer are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Blizzard Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Do set aside some time for Broadhead Meadows since you're here at Blizzard Lake; don't leave Blizzard Lake without first

| | going for a hike along the Notch Mountain Trail. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more fun things to do here in the Uinta Mountains. Go for a hike on the Lofty Lake Trail, and you're probably keen on lakes, Echo Lake is one of those nearby.

is available along the Skinner Cutoff Trail. A splendid location to camp here at Blizzard Lake is Lilly Lake Campground, and Bald Mountain Pass is a great place to spend some time.
Not much rain falls here at Blizzard Lake; most
of the snow falls through February while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Soar down the rapids of Rock Creek in a kayak, and camping at Bald Mountain Campground is always a perfect experience. This lake is located in the wonderful Uinta Mountains.
