The beauty of Black Lake attracts many people from all around. Black Lake is one of the lakes here in the Uinta Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Uinta Mountains. All year is a perfect time in the Uinta Mountains if you like the outdoors. The Highline Trail is a good hiking trail in close proximity to Black Lake. Lakes? Sure, Brinkley Lake is close at hand.

This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Butterfly Campground is a great place to do that, and you can run the rapids of Blacks Fork - West Fork. At Black Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally September, that's the one
that rains the most; the driest of the months is January. You'll meet a lot of folks from Evanston here, and there's whitewater on Rock Creek for all you thrill seekers. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Black Lake temperatures
are typically in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Black Lake.
