Birch Lake is a nice lake to visit. What would winter be without some skiing at Elk Meadows. There's so much to do here at Birch Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Little Reservoir Campground is a tremendous place for that. During the warm days of summer here at Birch Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Birch Lake are in

| | the 10's. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Birch Lake has to offer, you can camp at Kents Lake Campground, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Butch Cassidy Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two.

of Birch Lake; if you need a site to stay Beaver-Days Inn is a fine choice. So much exciting stuff to do at Birch Lake, so little time. Rocky Reservoir is a perfect lake near Birch Lake, and Birch Lake is right by the Skyline National
Recreation Trail.
Copes Basin is right here at Birch Lake, and hiking along the Bullion Trail is perfect fun. Middle Fork Birch Creek is a stream that you may come across while here, and Kents Spring is always fun to check out.
At Birch Lake you don’t see much precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain; June is when it's the driest.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clear Creek.
