Big Hole Pond gets very little rain; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while January is frequently the driest month. All through the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Big Hole Pond, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's       while Big Hole Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at San Rafael Bridge Campground since you're here at Big Hole Pond; dry warm beds await you at Green River Super 8 Motel. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area in close proximity to Big Hole Pond has to offer.
