This lake is so wonderful. A great site for whitewater paddling next to Big Elk Lake is Provo River, and you must without doubt dedicate some time to The Deli Dell if you're here at Big Elk Lake. There's so much to do here at Big Elk Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Dell Campground is a splendid place for that; Lodge at Stillwater is a wonderful location to get some rest. On a tremendous day at Big Elk Lake you can take a hike along the Littles Fork Trail; there are other places here than Big Elk Lake, for example Hourglass Lake. Summertime at Big Elk Lake comes with high temperatures
in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Big Elk Lake during the wintertime commonly plunge into the 10's. Yeah, come up here
to the Uinta Mountains for a tremendous time. While you're here at Big Elk Lake you can take a hike along the Smith Morehouse Trail, and you can stay the night at Camperworld Knotty Pine.
