There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Beaver Pond. A glorious spot like Willow Basin here at Beaver Pond is too wonderful to miss, and not far from Beaver Pond you'll discover Dons Lake which is a scenic lake. Oowah Campground is a tremendous local campground, and there are       some good whitewater spots on Dolores River. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Hidden Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Warner Campground is a perfect location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Andy Mesa can be made out from Beaver Pond, and Red Stone Inn is a delightful spot to get some rest. Around Beaver Pond you don’t get a lot of rain; October is when you get the most rain here while February is the                  month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Beaver Pond regularly tend to be in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's.
