Beaver Lake is not the only place nearby, Dine Lake is a nearby lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Shale Dugway. Be careful coming to the Uinta Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. Lots of people from Evanston come to Beaver Lake, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the High Line Trail. Beaver Lake is generally a rather waterless location; of all the months in a year May is the       one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. So much amusing stuff to do at Beaver Lake, so little time. There's so much to do here at Beaver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hoop Lake Campground is a delightful place for that, and Beaver Parks is a nice place here at Beaver Lake. The warmest time of the year at Beaver Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's.                  The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Beaver Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Paddling on Uinta River is so much fun, and if you get bored of Beaver Lake you could also have a look at close by Coffin Lake. Whitewater paddling is good on Yellowstone River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Beaver Lake has to offer, you can camp at Henrys Fork Campground. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
