La Sal Pass is in the vicinity of Beaver Lake and is a perfect place, and Sorrel River Ranch Resort is a great site to get some rest. There's whitewater on Dolores River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and camping at Warner Campground is always a great experience. Summer at Beaver Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter       comes with highs in the 40's; night lows during the winter for Beaver Lake tend to be in the 10's. Beaver Lake is a location that is relatively dry frequently; October is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The peak of Mount Peale can be seen from Beaver Lake, and if you need a place to stay Red Stone Inn is a pleasant choice. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff                  at Beaver Lake. Medicine Lakes is a nearby lake that you could stop by; if you came to camp Oowah Campground is a wonderful spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Beaver Lake, you could also check out close by Dark Canyon Lake; the peaks of the La Sal Mountains dominate the scenery of this region.
