This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta Mountains. Any time is a tremendous time at Bear Lake if you adore the outdoors. Why not take a refreshing hike along the High Line Trail. Why not camp at China Meadows Campground while you're here at Bear Lake, and Bear Lake is right by the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Uinta Mountains. Yellowstone       River is a splendid whitewater spot near Bear Lake, and folks from Evanston love to come here. A great site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Bear Lake is Blacks Fork - East Fork, and camping is available at Trail Head Campground. Summertime highs at Bear Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's.
