This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Blacksmith Fork for all you adrenaline people, and this is a popular place for people from Logan. A great place to camp here at Baxter Pothole is Hyrum Lake Campground, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Wolf Mountain is relatively near. Baxter Pothole beyond doubt is in the middle of a picturesque       outdoors paradise. Sherwood Hills Golf Course is a fine golf course nearby. Lakes are glorious; Wellsville Reservoir is a lake that's next to Baxter Pothole. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Logan is a glorious site to spend a night or two; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Ogden River. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Logan is a glorious choice, and naturally, this is a great                  region for folks who like lakes, Hyrum Reservoir is a lake in close proximity. Throughout the warm months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Baxter Pothole with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Baxter Pothole dip into the 10's. Going for a hike along the Skyline Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and camping is available at Hyrum State Park.
