    The beauty of Basin Beaver Ponds is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Logan River, and why not head up to Beaver Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Here at Basin Beaver Ponds you can catch a glimpse of Red Spur Mountain, and do put some time aside to spend at Campground Spring if you're here at Basin Beaver Ponds.
A spree to Old Canyon Basin invigorates the spirit, and if you came for an overnight
 
   stay Birch Creek Campground is a brilliant site to camp. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wasatch Range. A lake close by is Green Fork Sink; hiking along the Limber Pine Trail is great fun. And that's not all you can do here at Basin Beaver Ponds. Take a hike on the Hardware Ranch Trail, naturally you could also take a look at Green Fork Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all.
Summertime highs at Basin Beaver Ponds ordinarily tend to be in
 
               the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Basin Beaver Ponds night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. The Wasatch Range scenery is always beautiful. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Wasatch Range will keep you coming back again and again. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blacksmith Fork; Crystal Inn Logan is a great location to get some rest.
Basin Beaver Ponds is a location that is relatively dried up usually; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Green Fork New Canyon is a wonderful site to look at, and Little Creek Campground is a great campground nearby.

The Limber Pine trail is more of a nature walk than a hike. It's good for kids and those seeking an easy, short trail. Educational posting about flora, etc. are included around this loop trail. It's fun, too, even if you are a serious hiker. I think I could complete the loop in 15 minutes, but one posting I saw said 45 minutes. Walk it and find out. Easy access right off the road....
