There's so much to do here at Baseball Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Ferron Canyon Campground is a perfect place for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Willow Creek Inn is a splendid choice, and Baseball Spring is always fun to check out. Get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Ferron Creek, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called       the Blue Trail. At Baseball Pond you don’t see much rainfall; during the month of March you get the most rain around here while June is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Cottonwood Creek, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the CCC Trail. All the outdoors fun things right next door to Baseball Pond will keep you coming back over and over. Barewire                  Pond is a fine lake near Baseball Pond; Baseball Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Seely Creek Campground is a great local campground. Lakes are such serene sites, why not stop by Joes Valley Reservoir in the vicinity of Baseball Pond, and Daniels Canyon is a good place to spend some time. Through the summer months at Baseball Pond highs are usually in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's.
