Barney Reservoir in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. There's delightful hiking along the Upper Trail, and a lovely lake like Coyote Hole is a glorious location to go to. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Escalante River; lakes are such peaceful places, why not take a look at Slickrock Water. Throughout the months of summer at Barney Reservoir highs are frequently       in the 90's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Barney Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Hole-in-the-Rock Road. There's so much to do here at Barney Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Calf Creek Campground is a good location for that. Barney Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Mogui Motel Campground is                  a good local campground, and you ought to absolutely go to Mano Arch while here. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott Page. Not much rain falls here at Barney Reservoir; August is the wettest month with most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
