While you're here at Barney Lake you can take a hike along the Aquarius Trail, and after a long day outdoors Torrey-Days Inn Capitol Reef N.P. is a good spot to spend a night or two. You can catch a glimpse of Burr Top from Barney Lake; not far from Barney Lake you'll hit upon Auger Hole Lake which is a beautiful lake. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Wonderland Inn is a nice site to get some rest;       on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Boulder Mail Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Jacobs Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Barney Lake, and you might also want to pay a visit to Jacobs Valley since you're here at Barney Lake. It is very waterless here at Barney Lake generally; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an                  overnight stay Blue Spruce Campground is a good spot to camp; there's some exciting stuff to make out at Jacobs Valley Dam in the neighborhood of Barney Lake. Have a great hiking adventure along the Pollywog Lake Trail, and Triple S RV Park is a fine campground nearby. For the duration of the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Barney Lake; the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, commonly in the 40's.
