Barewire Pond gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls through March, and the driest month of the year is June. A great site for whitewater paddling near Barewire Pond is Cottonwood Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Don't leave Barewire Pond without first going for a hike along the Dry Wash Trail, and if you need a place to stay Manti Motel is a good choice. There's great hiking along       the CCC Trail, and Baseball Spring is always fun to check out. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Barewire Pond has to offer, you can camp at Ferron Canyon Campground, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Ferron Creek. There's so much to do here at Barewire Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mill Site Campground is a tremendous place for that, and you can go for a hike on the Blue Trail.                  For the duration of the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Barewire Pond. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and night lows at Barewire Pond all through the wintertime mostly descend into the 10's.
