Utah has many beautiful lakes and Bald Lake is one of them. Bald Lake is a location that is relatively arid mostly; September is the month that gets the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. All year is a splendid time in the Uinta Mountains if you love the outdoors. This is a good area for folks who like lakes. Red Castle Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and China Meadows Campground is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful.

| | There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Blacks Fork - East Fork, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Lower Red Castle Lake is one of those close by. Here at Bald Lake you can make out Bald Mountain, and a pleasant visit to Mansfield Meadows is a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Going for a hike on the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and this is a popular site for people from Evanston. This lake is so wonderful. | |

A wonderful close by hotel is Comfort Inn Evanston. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Bald Lake. There is a wonderful hiking trail in close proximity to Bald Lake called the High
Line Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Blacks Fork - West Fork. So many amusing things to do here in the Uinta Mountains, too perfect to be true. Near Bald Lake you find the
Bear River Smiths Fork Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and why not camp at Trail Head Campground if you're here at Bald Lake. Bald Lake is located in the Uinta Mountains. For the duration of the summer highs here at Bald
Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Bald Lake dip into the 0's.
